Carr: Carlie Baker’s baying like a moonbat

Deval’s ‘twin’ on immigration

By:

Howie Carr

It’s time for Charlie Baker to make up his mind whose side he’s on.

The law-abiding taxpaying U.S. citizens, or the hordes of freeloading illegal aliens swarming across the Rio Grande.

The dithering GOP front-runner put his foot in his mouth again this week, at a debate where he was asked which current Republican politician is his role model.

Charlie’s brain froze up. Oh dear God, they would insist on a Republican. What a conundrum for a Harvard man, being asked to name a good Republican. First there was dead silence, then finally Charlie asked if he could pick Ronald Reagan. No, he was told, Dutch is dead. More silence. Finally he blurted out:

“Jeb Bush.”

Jeb Bush! Another Republican with an asterisk — a RINO. Jeb Bush has only said one memorable thing in his whole career, and that was when he said illegal immigration is “an act of love.”

A love of welfare, certainly.

Baker’s latest faux pas comes just a month after the Obama administration tried to dump hundreds if not thousands of undocumented Democrats on the commonwealth. Gov. Deval Patrick had invited them in — after all, the state only spends $1.8 billion a year on welfare for illegal aliens, so what’s another few hundred million per annum ad infinitum?

The elected officials in the communities that were going to be devastated by this influx of thousands of new Tsarnaevs raised holy hell. But Charlie Baker backed Deval, his fellow Harvard grad.

“I think it’s incumbent on the states to be cooperative with the federal government on this issue,” he said on July 21, “given the humanitarian crisis that’s at hand.”

Charlie, how about the humanitarian crisis facing the U.S. population, being forced to take in millions of disease-ridden, non-English-speaking, unskilled non-workers and having to support them forever? Whatever happened to charity begins at home? This is not their home, Charlie, it’s ours. How about that humanitarian crisis, Charlie?

“I think it’s important,” Charlie continued, “for the federal government to be very specific with the commonwealth about exactly how it’s going to work.”

Here’s how it’s going to work. We Americans will work, and they won’t. We’ll support ourselves, and we’ll support them.

Now, we know how Democrats feel about this — they’re hot to trot to import a new welfare-dependent underclass, to keep themselves in power. They’ve gone from being the party of the working class to being the party of the non-working class.

The other night on WBZ, Democrat candidate Don Berwick was asked if he’d ever heard of Matthew Denice, the Milford motorcyclist run down and killed by a drunken illegal. Berwick had no idea who this U.S. citizen victim was, and when he was told, this moonbat’s moonbat didn’t seem to care.

“You can pick anecdotes to make any point,” Berwick sniffed.

There you have it. Illegal alien wants handout — humanitarian crisis. American killed by drunk illegal alien on welfare — an anecdote.

Charlie, listen to me. You can’t get elected by trying to out-moonbat the moonbats. To paraphrase Harry S Truman, if you give voters a choice between a Democrat and a Democrat, they’ll pick the Democrat every time.

On St. Patrick’s Day at Halitosis Hall, Deval Patrick made a joke: “It turns out that Charlie Baker and I are identical twins.”

It also turns out, Deval wasn’t kidding.

See Howie tomorrow at Tina’s Delicious Ice Cream in Falmouth from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

MA Joint Committee on Transportation Considering the Release of a Bill to Provide Licenses to Illegals

June 17, 2014 in Illegal Aliens, Immigration, MA

We need the help of all Patriots in Massachusetts

  • The MA Joint Committee on Transportation has extended the deadline to July 3 for moving The Safe Driving Bill (H 3285), that would provide driver’s licenses to illegals. out of their committee. As usual, our MA legislative body believe that if they choose a positive name for a bill, even if it is a horrendously bad bill, that a gullible public will swallow it hook, line and sinker. It’s all in the name of obfuscating the true nature of the proposed legislation, in this case creating an allusion that this bill will increase safety even though it does the exact opposite. For example, recently an illegal Mexican alien with outstanding arrest warrants,  Daniel Leal Ortega, was charged in the death of a 3-year old Saugus boy who would be alive today if Ortega wasn’t in our country and driving on our streets.  This Safe Driving Bill is anything but safe and will ultimately lead to greater risks and dangers to all citizens in the Commonwealth. But forget that. From this point forward we will rename the bill appropriately for what it is, namely the Un-Safe Driving Bill (H 3285).
  • Granting Driver’s Licenses to Illegal Aliens Poses National Security Risks.

Granting illegal aliens driver’s licenses makes them invisible to enforcement authorities by giving them the one document they most need to secure employment, transact business and register to vote. This fact is especially disturbing considering that, unlike legal immigrants, illegal aliens are not subject to stringent background checks or face-to-face interviews to determine the existence of any national security threat that they might pose. The 19 September 11 terrorists carried among them over 30 state driver’s licenses and identification cards. These documents allowed them to obtain housing, transportation and other accommodations without raising suspicion while they planned and executed their deadly conspiracy.

  • Granting Driver’s Licenses to Illegal Aliens Encourages More Illegal Immigration.

States who grant driver’s licenses to illegal aliens become magnets for illegal immigration.  Illegal immigration results in higher costs of living, reduced job availability, lower wages, higher crime rates fiscal hardship on hospitals and substandard quality of care for residents, burdens on public services, increasing their costs and diminishing their availability and a reduction on the overall quality of life.

  • Granting Driver’s Licenses to Illegal Aliens in One State Creates Adverse Consequences in Other States.

Many states grant recognition of sister states’ driver’s licenses for purposes of granting driver’s licenses to applicants. In other words, an illegal alien could obtain a driver’s license in one state, then potentially take the driver’s license to another state and obtain a driver’s license based on reciprocity.

  • Granting Driver’s Licenses to Illegal Aliens Is Fiscally Unwise.

It is not fair to constituents to continue to increase taxes, cut their benefits and mortgage against their children’s futures while expanding benefits for illegal aliens. States must not invite illegal immigration to their state and place the fiscal burden of providing education, health care and other services to illegal aliens on the backs of taxpayers. Legislators should not spend scarce resources by granting driver’s licenses to illegal aliens who are subject to immediate deportation. States have a legitimate interest in restricting licenses to those who are citizens or legal residents because of the concern that persons subject to immediate deportation will not be financially responsible for property damage or personal injury due to automobile accidents. Many supporters of illegal alien driver’s licenses are under the misguided impression that our country needs illegal workers. That is simply untrue. Over 20 million Americans are unemployed or underemployed. The U.S. is in no “desperate need of the labor” of illegal aliens. While the national unemployment rate is currently at 6.3 percent, many states unemployment rates well exceed the national average. For example, the unemployment rate is up to 8.4 percent in Illinois, 7.2 percent in New Jersey, 8.1 percent in California, 8.7 percent in Rhode Island, and as high as 8.5 percent in Nevada. Providing driving privileges to illegal aliens will only encourage illegal aliens to remain in the state and continue to work in the underground economy for lower wages – severely undercutting American workers and yielding little to no tax revenue for the state.

  • Granting Driver’s Licenses to Illegal Aliens Rewards Lawbreakers.

Granting driver’s licenses to illegal aliens is a perverse incentive for illegal alien families to move to those states who issue them. Accommodating and rewarding those who violate our immigration laws encourages others to follow the same path and gives prospective immigrants little incentive to pursue the legal paths to immigration when they can side step the process and gain the same benefits. Granting driver’s licenses to illegal aliens also insults those legal immigrants who patiently waited for months and years for the U.S. State Department and DHS to approve their application for admission or adjustment and paid thousands of dollars in travel, legal and medical fees to abide by the entry, employment, health and processing laws and regulations.

  • Granting Driver’s Licenses to Illegal Aliens Conflicts with and Frustrates the Purposes and Objectives of Federal Immigration Law.

Federal law clearly states under what circumstances a person may legally reside in the United States. An illegal alien, by definition, does not possess lawful presence and is immediately removable. Granting driver’s licenses to illegal aliens treats them as if they are lawfully present and facilitates illegal conduct. A driver’s license is one of the most useful single items of identification for creating an appearance of lawful presence. Providing identification and driving privileges to illegal aliens only enables the illegal aliens to continue to live, work, and vote in states unlawfully in contradiction to federal law.

  • Granting Driver’s Licenses to Illegal Aliens Will Not Significantly Impact Road Safety or Guarantee More Insured Drivers.

In 2011, the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety released a report that analyzed traffic accident data collected by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Fatality Analysis Reporting System database. The AAA report reveals that from 2007-2009 less than 5 percent of the drivers involved in fatal car accidents nationwide were unlicensed drivers.

Additional Un-Safe Driving Bill (H 3285): Talking Points:

1. This bill has nothing to do with safe driving. Its singular goal is to make it more convenient for illegal aliens to live in our state, and for unscrupulous employers to hire them instead of Americans and legal immigrants.
2. We should be discouraging illegal immigration, not encouraging it by issuing ID cards that make it easier for them to claim social services they are not entitled to … jobs, board airplanes, enter federal buildings, conceal their true identity, and even vote.
3. The Registry cannot possibly determine if illegal aliens are who they say they are, because many of them lack proper identification. Relying only on easily-faked documents – leases and utility bills – will introduce too much fraud into the ID system.
4. Massachusetts will become a magnet for fraud and illegal aliens from all over the country to get licenses. This will cause our licenses to be devalued in other states and by the federal government.
5. Issuing licenses to illegal aliens does not necessarily reduce the number of uninsured drivers. In New Mexico, they found that issuing DLs to illegal aliens did not reduce the number who drove without insurance, even though that was a key goal of the program.
6. Issuing licenses to illegal aliens has not been shown to reduce accidents, drunk driving, or other unsafe driving behaviors. Studies in California and New Mexico fail to show any improvement in safe driving as a result of issuing licenses to illegal aliens.
7. Legislators should instead work to reduce illegal immigration by encouraging enforcement of unlicensed driver laws, implementing mandatory E-Verify, and working with ICE to increase the number of deportations, especially of criminals and reckless illegal alien drivers.
8. Legislators should also demand that the governor stop allowing unlicensed drivers to register vehicles and get license plates for their cars, according to the law they passed with bipartisan agreement in 2012.

(1) “More than half of the 48 Islamic radicals convicted or tied to recent terrorist plots in the United States over the past decade either were themselves illegal aliens or relied on illegals to get fake IDs. Immigration violators participated in the first attack on the World Trade Center, the Los Angeles Millennium bombing plot, and the New York subway bombing conspiracy. Three of the 9/11 hijackers were here illegally; two had previous immigration violations. Atta and Hanjour were visa violators.” Testimony of Michelle Malkin before the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, Border Security, and Citizenship (May

(2) Data obtained by the Associated Press from the three states who issue driver’s licenses to illegal aliens reveals that the states saw a surge in illegal aliens seeking driver’s licenses and IDs after Arizona’s Senate Bill 1070 was signed into law. See Tim Korte and Manuel Valdes, More immigrants getting driver’s licenses in Washington, August 13, 2010, available at http://o.seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2012619222_licenses14.html. Specifically, during the ten weeks after Arizona’s Senate Bill 1070 became law, the number of licenses issued to foreign nationals in the three states that currently grant driver’s licenses to illegal aliens rose by 60 percent over the annual average for the previous year. Id. In Washington State, the FBI was tipped that people from across the country were coming to the State because of its license law. Id. Indeed, Washington experienced a surge in driver’s license applications from out-of-state illegal aliens after amending its law to allow illegal alien driver’s licenses. See Stephen Clark, States Revise Rules on Driver’s Licenses for Illegal Immigrants as National ID Approaches, FOXNEWS, February 17, 2011, available at http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/02/17/states-revise-rules-drivers-licenses-illegal-immigrants-national-id-approaches/. In 2003, New Mexico amended its driver’s license statute to allow foreign nationals to obtain driver’s licenses regardless of immigration status. See N.M. Stat. Ann. § 66-5-9 (2012). Currently, 71,729 foreign nationals possess a New Mexico driver’s license. Since July of 2010, anyone applying for the state’s foreign national driver’s license must make an appointment with the New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division (MVD). MVD offices review applications and grant a temporary driver’s license to persons who meet the documentary requirements. The application is then passed on to the New Mexico Taxation & Revenue Department’s Tax Fraud Investigations Division (TRD-TFID), who oversees the MVD. Between August 2010 and  April 2011, TRD-TFID investigators found that 37 percent of the 16,000 foreign national requests for appointments came from out-of-state, most from Arizona, Georgia, and Texas. See Tim Maestas, Immigrant license fraud increases, KASA FOX, May 16, 2011, available at http://www.kasa.com/dpps/news/news_other_4/immigrant-license-fraud-increases_3813419. Investigators found one New Mexico number was used 228 times, a phone number with an Arizona area code was used 24 times, and one address in Albuquerque was used more than 70 times in the application process. Id.

Conversely, States that refuse benefits or privileges to illegal aliens see a dramatic decrease in illegal immigration. For example, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (“DHS”) estimated that Arizona’s illegal alien population grew from 330,000 in 2000 to 560,000 by 2008, one of the fastest rates nationally. See Office of Immigration Statistics, DHS, Estimates of the Unauthorized Immigrant Population Residing in the United States: January 2008, available at http://www.dhs.gov/xlibrary/assets/statistics/publications/ois_ill_pe_2008.pdf. After Arizona’s SB 1070 strict immigration law passed, however, Arizona’s illegal alien population dropped by 18 percent from 2008 to 2009. See Office of Immigration Statistics, DHS, Estimates of the Unauthorized Immigrant Population Residing in the United States: January 2009, available at http://www.dhs.gov/xlibrary/assets/statistics/publications/ois_ill_pe_2009.pdf. See also, e.g., Prince William County (“PWC”), Virginia. After PWC instituted a policy of cooperation with DHS, its illegal alien population decreased significantly in just two years, resulting in a reduction in violent crime and hit-and-run accidents. See Center for Survey Research, University of Virginia, Evaluation Study of Prince William County’s Illegal Immigration Enforcement Policy FINAL REPORT 2010, available at http://www.pwcgov.org/government/bocs/Documents/13188.pdf.

(3)There is no such thing as an “illegal alien job.” Illegal aliens and natives compete for the same jobs, and native workers are increasingly disadvantaged because employers have access to a steady supply of low-wage foreign workers. Less than 1 percent of the Census Bureau’s 465 civilian job categories have a majority immigrant workforce. See Steven A. Camarota, Immigration’s Impact on U.S. Workers, Testimony Prepared for the House Judiciary Committee, Subcommittee on Immigration, Citizenship, Refugees, Border Security, and International Law, November 19, 2009, Center for Immigration Studies, November 2009, available at http://www.cis.org/node/1582. Illegal immigration has a disproportional impact on poor Americans. Because a large proportion of illegal aliens are low-skilled workers, they are more likely to compete with and undercut the wages of low-skill native workers. See Jeffrey S Passel and D’Vera Cohn, A Portrait of Unauthorized Immigrants in the United States, Pew Research Center, April 2009, at 11-12, available at http://pewhispanic.org/files/reports/107.pdf.

(4) In Georgia, where the illegal alien share of the labor force went from about 4 percent to 7 percent from 2000 to 2007, a study by the Federal Reserve found that the illegal labor caused a 2.5 percent wage drop overall and a 11 percent drop in construction wages over that time period. See Julie L. Hotchkiss and Myriam Quispe-Agnoli, The Labor Market Experience and Impact of Undocumented Workers, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, February 2008, at 36, 39, available at http://www.frbatlanta.org/filelegacydocs/wp0807c.pdf. Harvard University’s George Borjas concluded that immigration reduced wages for the poorest 10 percent of Americans by about 7.4 percent between 1980 and 2000 with even larger effects for workers with less than 20 years of experience. George J. Borjas, Increasing the Supply of Labor through Immigration: Measuring the Impact on Native Workers, Backgrounder,Center for Immigration Studies, May 2004, at 1, available at http://www.cis.org/articles/2004/back504.pdf.

(5) The Federal Bureau of Prisons reported that, although illegal aliens only make up an estimated 3.7 percent of the United States population, non-citizens account for 26 percent of the federal jail population. See United States Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, State of the Bureau at 3 (2010), available at http://www.bop.gov/news/PDFs/sob10.pdf. DHS estimates that non-citizens nationally comprise 20 percent of inmates in prisons and jails. See Center for Immigration Studies, Immigration and Crime: Assessing a Conflicted Issue at 1 (November 2009), available at http://www.cis.org/articles/2009/crime.pdf. Even so, every crime illegal aliens commit in the United States was potentially preventable if the illegal alien had been identified, apprehended, and removed before they victimized anyone. States who give driver’s licenses to illegal aliens create safe havens that facilitate criminal activity, especially in regard to drug- and gang- related crimes, human trafficking, and identity theft.

Proposed Licenses for Illegal Aliens Will Place Commonwealth Resident’s safety at Risk

March 3, 2014 in Abuse of Power, Illegal Aliens, Immigration

This is a special message to Massachusetts residents from NumbersUSA, The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR)and the Mass Tea Party  regarding  HB 3285.

Dear Massachusetts Activist,

On Wednesday, March 5, the state legislature’s Joint Committee on Transportation will hold a hearing on HB 3285, which would grant driver’s licenses to illegal aliens. A few years ago, Massachusetts had made it more difficult for illegal aliens to drive after three citizens were killed by illegal aliens behind the wheel. Now the sponsors of this bill want to give all illegal aliens licenses.

In the first video a Massachusetts mom, Maureen Maloney  who lost her 23 year old son Matthew to an illegal alien driver that dragged him 1/4 mile to his death, is outraged.

In the second video our god friend and Patriot, Louie Gohmert (R-TX) provide his insights on providing Illegal Aliens drivers licenses.

FYI, in states which have already tried this dumb act – the illegals did NOT take the required training [they faked it] and they didn’t buy insurance.

“The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), has reported that, “…illegal aliens often are not able to read road alerts in English. In many of the countries from which illegal aliens come, it is standard practice for motorists involved in accidents to flee the scene. The combination of these factors adds up to the probability that, if more illegal aliens were encouraged to drive by issuing them driver’s licenses, it would lead to more accidents caused by uninsured motorists and many would be hit and run.”

In January 2013, Fair further reported that, “…The two other states that issue licenses to illegal aliens – New Mexico and Washington – have found pervasive use of false addresses and fraudulent documents by non-resident illegal aliens to obtain licenses.”

Please contact the Members of the Joint Committee, as well as your Senator and Representative, and tell them to oppose HB 3285. Instructions are included below.

Note: Reps. Tricia Farley-Bouvier and Patricia Jehlen are primary sponsors of HB 3285 and the following Reps. co-sponsor the bill: Denise Provost, William Brownsberger, Ruth Balser, Carl Sciortino, Jr., Timothy Toomey, Jr., Kay Khan, Daniel Wolf, Mary Keefe, Elizabeth Malia, Kenneth Donnelly, Benjamin Swan, Marcos Devers, Frank Smizik, Marjorie Decker, Michael Barrett, James Eldridge, Jeffrey Snchez, Denise Andrews, Paul Schmid, III, Jonathan Hecht, James O’Day, and David Rogers. If your Rep. is on this list, please slam their support for the bill.

Contacting Members on the Joint Committee on Transportation

If you are unable to attend the  Joint Committee on Transportation Hearing, please call and email the noted Senators and Rep. with the message below. If you are a constituent, be sure to mention it.

Please vote no on HB 3285, which gives driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants. Giving licenses to those who “claim” to be residents invites fraud and poses a dangerous security risk. Please do not play politics with our safety and well being.

Additional Talking Points

Adding more illegal-immigrant drivers to the roads — many without experience — will not improve safety. Nor will it guarantee that illegal immigrants purchase insurance. New Mexico, which has long given licenses to illegal immigrants, has the second highest percentage of uninsured drivers in the nation.

The legislation will make Massachusetts a magnet for illegal immigrants across the nation who want licenses. New Mexico, for example, discovered that thousands of illegal aliens committed fraud to obtain a license.

The Commonwealth is already in trouble with the federal REAL ID Act. Passing this bill will compound the problem. Do not make my driver’s license invalid for boarding on an airplane.

The Commonwealth is already in trouble with the federal REAL ID Act. Passing this bill will compound the problem. Do not make my driver’s license invalid for boarding on an airplane.

This bill has nothing to do with safe driving. The only goal is to make it more convenient for illegal aliens to live in our state and for unscrupulous employers to hire them instead of Americans and legal immigrants.

We should be discouraging illegal immigration, not encouraging it by issuing ID cards that makes it easier for them to claim social services that they are not entitled, to work, to board airplanes, to enter federal buildings, to conceal their true identity, and possibly even vote.

The Registry cannot possibly determine if illegal aliens are who they say they are, because many of them lack proper identification. Relying only on easily-faked documents like leases and utility bills will introduce too much fraud into the ID system.

Massachusetts will become a magnet for fraud and for illegal aliens from all over the country to get licenses. This will cause our licenses to be devalued in other states and by the federal government.

Issuing licenses to illegal aliens does not necessarily reduce the number of uninsured drivers. In New Mexico, they found that issuing drivers licenses to illegal aliens did not reduce the number who drove without insurance, even though that was one of the primary goals of the program.

Issuing licenses to illegal aliens has not been shown to reduce accidents, drunk driving, or other unsafe driving behaviors. Studies in California and New Mexico fail to show any improvement in safe driving as a result of issuing licenses to illegal aliens.

Legislators should instead work to reduce illegal immigration by encouraging enforcement of unlicensed driver laws, implementing mandatory E-Verify, and working with ICE to increase the number of deportations, especially of criminals and reckless illegal alien drivers.

Legislators should also demand that Governor Deval Patrick enforce the 2012 bipartisan legislation, passed over his veto that prohibits illegal aliens from registering or operating motor vehicles.

Licenses for illegals putting  Americans’ safety at risk?

In their minds – the needs of the Third World override your safety or our US Constitution.

Their Oath of Office was just a ‘quaint old-fashioned ceremony’.

The Deval Patrick  Administration intends to give drivers licenses and EBT cards to illegals; – the costs and dead Americans be damned!

On Beacon Hill Wednesday March 5th, Room B2 in the State House, sometime after 1:00 pm  the Joint Committee on Transportation will consider House Bill 3285 – a bill to issue drivers licenses to people here illegally.

They’re claiming it ‘will make our streets safer’ – because illegals will have to take driver training, and buy insurance.

Right,…and our experience with illegals and EBT cards is so reassuring!  When arrested they usually have several – all in different names.

FYI, in states which have already tried this dumb act – the illegals did NOT take the required training [they faked it] and they didn’t buy insurance.

“The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), has reported that, “…illegal aliens often are not able to read road alerts in English.  In January 2013, Fair further reported that, “…The two other states that issue licenses to illegal aliens – New Mexico and Washington – have found pervasive use of false addresses and fraudulent documents by non-resident illegal aliens to obtain licenses.”

So Jorge will take the test, and Jose will carry the ‘license’.  No fingerprints, – no birth certificates, – no SSNs involved.   Their license will look just like yours.  Can’t discriminate – can we?

Now your illegal can – and probably will – vote.  WHO’S gonna stop them, your Democratic town clerk?

Yep, this is back-door amnesty – courtesy of your Massachusetts Democratic Party.

Barack Obama’ war on America; Criminal Illegal Aliens Being Released Into Our Communities

February 27, 2013 in Abuse of Power, Accountability, Amnesty, Illegal Aliens, Our Dear Leader, Political Incompetence, President Obama, Sequestration, Socialist, Treason

Barack Obama’ war on America

Posted by  Judson Phillips  on February 27, 2013 at 6:22am in Tea Party Nation Forum

Criminal ReleaseBarack Obama and the Party of Treason hate America.   It is no longer a policy difference.  With Obama and the far-left shills for the Democrats, it has never been about policy.   They do not want to debate issues and let the best idea win.  They want to defeat anyone who disagrees with them at all costs.

Now the Obama Regime is showing its total contempt and hatred for those who disagree with it.

How are they doing this?

In advance of the Budget Sequestration that is set to start on March 1st, the Obama Regime is releasing illegal aliens into American communities.

The sequestration has not even hit yet and the Obama Regime is trying to hurt Americans

The illegal aliens being released are not simply illegal aliens, but these are criminal illegal aliens.    These are illegal aliens who have been charged or convicted of criminal offenses.  Usually it is more than one.

Instead of deporting these criminal aliens, the Department of Homeland Security is literally turning them out of the prisons.    Where is most of this happening?

Arizona.

That is no accident.

Arizona is a red state.  Arizona dared to defy Barack Obama and even took him to the Supreme Court and won.

Over the weekend, in Pinal County, Arizona, DHS released hundreds of criminal illegal aliens.  They did not even notify the local sheriff they were releasing these criminals.

The Obama Regime claims they must do this because of the upcoming budget sequester.

The sequester is not causing the release but the Obama Regime is desperate to create a crisis.

Why?

What happens if the modest 2% cut in spending goes through?

Probably nothing.  Most Americans will not see any change.

That is the great fear of the Obama Regime.

If the world does not end with this modest spending cut, then the Republicans and the American people will start asking, what else can we cut.  Where else can we cut?

For Barack Obama who is determined to bankrupt America before the end of his second term, this is unacceptable.

So Barack Obama is releasing criminal illegal aliens onto the streets of at least one red state.

How many people will die because Obama is releasing criminal illegal aliens?  How many people will be injured?   How many crimes will be committed?

Obama doesn’t care.  Arizona is a red state.

He doesn’t care because for Obama, the ends justify the means.   Obama does not care that he took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution because the Constitution means nothing to him.    Obama does not care because he hates America and Americans.

Instead of being responsible, Barack Obama is trying to make the spending cuts as painful as possible.  Instead of stopping a few of those crony grants to “green energy” projects, he is keeping the Navy tied up in port.  Instead of cutting advertising to promote food stamps, he is releasing criminals on the streets to rampage and make the people of America pay for daring to elect Republicans to try and stop him.

Barack Obama is hell bent on destroying America.  Americans will die because of his desire to punish those who disagree with him.

The question is will the Republicans in Washington ever stand up to him?

Amnesty Coming Your Way?

January 25, 2013 in Amnesty, Debt Crisis, Economy, Illegal Aliens, Redistribution of Wealth, Welfare, Welfare Fraud

illegal-alien-amnestySenator Marco Rubio in an interview with Greta Van Susteren on Fox talked about his plan for “Undocumented  Immigrants.”

Even our so called  rising star Republican political class can’t help but use the same political speak of the Progressive Left, who seek to legitimatize criminal  behavior. According to Title  8 Section Section 1325 of the  US Code of Federal Regulations:

“Improper Entry by Alien,” any citizen of any country other than the United States who:

  • Enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers; or
  • Eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers; or
  • Attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact;
  • has committed a federal crime.”

Further, one has to question the political motives of Senator Rubio. After all, a similar  Amnesty law to that proposed by Rubio et al, the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA) was signed into law by President Reagan on November 6, 1986 who  called it,  “the most comprehensive reform of our immigration laws since 1952.”.

IRCA:

  • required employers to attest to their employees’ immigration status.
  • made it illegal to knowingly hire or recruit unauthorized immigrants.
  • legalized certain seasonal agricultural illegal immigrants.
  • legalized illegal immigrants who entered the United States before January 1, 1982 and had resided there continuously with the penalty of a fine, back taxes due, and admission of guilt. About three million illegal immigrants were granted legal status.

The law  turned out to be a complete and utter failure  when you consider that, it did nothing to stem the flow of Illegal Immigration. It  is estimated that we now have 4  to 6 times  the 1986  illegal Alien population,  residing in  the United States when IRCA became law.  Thus Senator Marco Rubio follows  in the footsteps of his political elite  predecessors and ignores George Santayana admonition that, “Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

” There is much talk about the need for “comprehensive immigration reform”. With that in mind it would be useful to review what we as a nation learned, or should have learned, from our last big experiment in the field, the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA).” (Ref: Center for Immigration Studies Article January 2013)

In MA alone 17,000 EBT card holders were unable to be identified in 2012. What percentage of these lost EBT cardholders are  illegal Aliens? What about the fraud perpetrated  by Illegal Aliens that are on Welfare, on Medicare and perpetrate felonious. Criminals that are stealing our hard earned treasure at a time when America faces debt crises after debt crisis and at at a time when every level of government can barely manage to provide care for its legal citizenry. The effect of Amnesty on our economy at this time would be nothing short of devestating.

Doesn’t Senator Rubio understand that the end game for illegal Aliens is a quid pro quo relationship, wherein the Democrat Party keeps them as a permanent government dependent underclass in return for their votes and political support. If Amnesty were to passe, these  Illegal Aliens would then become a permanent dependent American underclass. These demographic trends have been causing dramatic political changes in our Southwestern states and if Amnesty were to be passed, this trend will befall our state as well.

Rubio Finds Support on the Right for Immigration Plan

By Scott Conroy  – January 22, 2013

With leaders from both parties calling on Congress to take up immigration reform this year, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio has been meeting with news outlets and conservative opinion-shapers to lay out his vision for a plan that would offer temporary legal status to undocumented immigrants. Those applying would have to pass background checks and other tests designed to eventually lead from permanent residency to citizenship.

Though he has not yet introduced legislation, in trumpeting his sweeping proposals Rubio has seized a torch that in recent years burned several similarly ambitious Republican politicians. But in a sign of how quickly the parameters of the debate on this issue have shifted since President Obama’s re-election, prominent conservatives — many of whom were vocal in their opposition to previous similar plans — have been lavishing praise on Rubio’s ideas for reform.

On his nationally syndicated radio show, Sean Hannity said that Rubio’s plan was “probably the most thoughtful bill that I have heard heretofore,” while Fox News colleague Bill O’Reilly called the program “a good one.” Other purveyors of conservative thought, from Grover Norquist to Ralph Reed to David Brody, have also weighed in with positive reactions.

The most important seal of approval thus far may have come from Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, who had until recently been tied to 2012 running mate Mitt Romney’s policy of opposing “amnesty” for illegal immigrants (whom Romney had suggested could be encouraged to “self-deport”).

But Ryan has made clear that he, too, is ready to pivot on the issue.

“Senator Rubio is exactly right on the need to fix our broken immigration system,” Ryan wrote last week in a post on his Facebook page. “I support the principles he’s outlined: modernization of our immigration laws; stronger security to curb illegal immigration; and respect for the rule of law in addressing the complex challenge of the undocumented population. Our future depends on an immigration system that works.”

Rubio spent much of the first half of last year trying to drum up support for his plan to offer visas to the children of illegal immigrants who have served in the military or attended college — an alternative to the Democratic-backed DREAM Act. But when the president issued an executive order that achieved similar ends, Rubio criticized him for having sidestepped Congress.

Since Obama’s re-election, which came with the support of more than 70 percent of Hispanic voters, Rubio’s team has been heartened by the stark sea change they have seen on the issue.

“Overall, the reaction’s been really positive, and there really hasn’t been any significant opposition to it,” Rubio spokesperson Alex Conant said of the senator’s plan. “People have made good points about the proposals, and we welcome a healthy debate. This isn’t something [where] the senator just woke up one morning and decided to do. He’s been thinking about these issues for years now.”

Rubio’s goal is to pass immigration legislation this year, and the political implications for the rising GOP star could be long-lasting. The first-term senator is widely expected to run for president in 2016. If he does, his first political hurdle to overcome would likely be in Iowa, where conservative hardliners on illegal immigration have long held sway.

In the 2008 nominating fight, John McCain’s efforts to promote comprehensive immigration reform were perhaps his greatest challenge in Iowa — where he finished a distant fourth in that year’s caucuses. He was able to recover and win the Republican nomination, but immigration became an unshakeable albatross for a more recent GOP White House hopeful.

When Texas Gov. Rick Perry suggested in a primary debate that people who disagreed with a Texas law offering in-state tuition rates to children of illegal immigrants “don’t have a heart,” the resulting criticism from conservatives grew into a firestorm in the Hawkeye State. Perry’s opponents and right-leaning activists hammered him for the comment, which he was forced to spend precious time on the stump trying to explain away.

But Republican consultant Bob Haus, who helped run Perry’s Iowa campaign, predicted that Rubio’s efforts on immigration reform would not sting him in a similar manner, if he does run in 2016.

“There are now more Republican leaders who are working to craft sensible, workable solutions than trying to simply derail everything,” Haus said. “These leaders are changing the debate. Republicans aren’t just against everything related to immigration. Now they’re for something. That signals a paradigm shift, and it will be a good one for the Republican Party.”

Despite those shifting sentiments on the right, however, there will no doubt be more than a few influential Republican voices in Iowa who remain resistant to Rubio’s proposals. Steve Deace, an influential conservative radio host in the nation’s first voting state, made clear on Twitter last week that he had no intention of getting behind Rubio’s plan.

“Strangely I am not reassured by Bill O’Reilly’s endorsement of Marco Rubio’s amnesty..err..immigration plan,” Deace tweeted.

During the 2012 primaries, Romney largely succeeded in his efforts to stake out a position to the right of his Republican opponents on the issue. But his short-term political gain became a Pyrrhic victory when the general election came around and the Obama campaign was able to paint him as an extremist on the issue.

Some former members of Romney’s team are among those taking that lesson to heart, seeing Rubio’s efforts as both politically savvy and a near necessity for the GOP’s future.

David Kochel, who helmed Romney’s near-victory in the 2012 Iowa caucuses, suggested that Rubio and other Republicans with their eye on the White House are wise to demonstrate a willingness to be a part of the solution to a difficult challenge.

“I think there will always be some folks in the conservative entertainment industry who will bang away at Republicans who want to work on immigration,” Kochel said. “But it’s a real problem, and not just a party problem. Time to look it in the eye and solve it. We can do it without compromising our principles.”
