Carr: Carlie Baker’s baying like a moonbat

Deval’s ‘twin’ on immigration

By:

Howie Carr

It’s time for Charlie Baker to make up his mind whose side he’s on.

The law-abiding taxpaying U.S. citizens, or the hordes of freeloading illegal aliens swarming across the Rio Grande.

The dithering GOP front-runner put his foot in his mouth again this week, at a debate where he was asked which current Republican politician is his role model.

Charlie’s brain froze up. Oh dear God, they would insist on a Republican. What a conundrum for a Harvard man, being asked to name a good Republican. First there was dead silence, then finally Charlie asked if he could pick Ronald Reagan. No, he was told, Dutch is dead. More silence. Finally he blurted out:

“Jeb Bush.”

Jeb Bush! Another Republican with an asterisk — a RINO. Jeb Bush has only said one memorable thing in his whole career, and that was when he said illegal immigration is “an act of love.”

A love of welfare, certainly.

Baker’s latest faux pas comes just a month after the Obama administration tried to dump hundreds if not thousands of undocumented Democrats on the commonwealth. Gov. Deval Patrick had invited them in — after all, the state only spends $1.8 billion a year on welfare for illegal aliens, so what’s another few hundred million per annum ad infinitum?

The elected officials in the communities that were going to be devastated by this influx of thousands of new Tsarnaevs raised holy hell. But Charlie Baker backed Deval, his fellow Harvard grad.

“I think it’s incumbent on the states to be cooperative with the federal government on this issue,” he said on July 21, “given the humanitarian crisis that’s at hand.”

Charlie, how about the humanitarian crisis facing the U.S. population, being forced to take in millions of disease-ridden, non-English-speaking, unskilled non-workers and having to support them forever? Whatever happened to charity begins at home? This is not their home, Charlie, it’s ours. How about that humanitarian crisis, Charlie?

“I think it’s important,” Charlie continued, “for the federal government to be very specific with the commonwealth about exactly how it’s going to work.”

Here’s how it’s going to work. We Americans will work, and they won’t. We’ll support ourselves, and we’ll support them.

Now, we know how Democrats feel about this — they’re hot to trot to import a new welfare-dependent underclass, to keep themselves in power. They’ve gone from being the party of the working class to being the party of the non-working class.

The other night on WBZ, Democrat candidate Don Berwick was asked if he’d ever heard of Matthew Denice, the Milford motorcyclist run down and killed by a drunken illegal. Berwick had no idea who this U.S. citizen victim was, and when he was told, this moonbat’s moonbat didn’t seem to care.

“You can pick anecdotes to make any point,” Berwick sniffed.

There you have it. Illegal alien wants handout — humanitarian crisis. American killed by drunk illegal alien on welfare — an anecdote.

Charlie, listen to me. You can’t get elected by trying to out-moonbat the moonbats. To paraphrase Harry S Truman, if you give voters a choice between a Democrat and a Democrat, they’ll pick the Democrat every time.

On St. Patrick’s Day at Halitosis Hall, Deval Patrick made a joke: “It turns out that Charlie Baker and I are identical twins.”

It also turns out, Deval wasn’t kidding.

See Howie tomorrow at Tina’s Delicious Ice Cream in Falmouth from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Congress’s Bipartisan Budget… “Deal” or Budget “Breaker”

December 11, 2013 in Congress, Debt Crisis, Debt Limit, Depression, Economic Deception, Economy, Political Class, Political Deception, Political Incompetence, Quantitative Easing, Republicans Vs. Tea Party, Sequestration, Taxiation with Representation

SequesterWe have a Bipartisan “Deal” in Congress that will roll back the Sequester and add back at least $63B in additional Debt. The “Deal” will result in raising Revenue to offset the new spending and to make it appear like spending has been reduced! For those of you that don’t understand the Washington jargon, raising “Revenue” means raising “Taxes”.

When  our good friend of Liberty and Fiscal Responsibility, Louie Gohmert  (R-TX) has qualms about the ” Deal”, then Houston, we have a problem!

The “Deal” is great for most of our “Political Class” on both sides of the aisle that just want to continue their comfy spending habits without any accountability,   interference or distressing phone calls from their constituents. Hence, this “Deal compromise” promises to exacerbate and accelerate our present economic ticking time-bomb.

On his “The Economic Collapse Blog” of December 10th, 2013, with our economy in such a precarious situation, Michael Snyder asks, How Far Will Stocks Fall This Time When The Fed Decides To Slow Down Quantitative Easing? Read his article at  http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/how-far-will-stocks-fall-this-time-when-the-fed-decides-to-slow-down-quantitative-easing

Chart-By-DayOnBay-425x328

We already have a monumental Federal Deficit of $17.2 Trillion and super-Monumental Unfunded Liabilities of anywhere between $60 and $90 Trillion “…or 550 percent of our GDP. And the debt per household is more than 10 times the median family income.”

Folks, we have Local, State and Federal Governments that are totally out of control and are literally taxing us to death and a Federal Reserve that has been feeding $85 B/ month in Quantitative Easing into our banking system. Every time the Fed attempts to withdraw what some characterize as the QE “Heroin Fix” our economy pulls back. Will the imminent pull back by the Federal Reserve of of QE3 be the trigger that will plunge us into an unprecedented economic Collapse?

Whatever the case, as you will see from the following signs, Americans can no longer afford the debt being placed upon us and future generations by our Legislators without some sort of personal financial buckling!

The time has come to stand up and be counted. Enough is Enough! Our Governments continue to squander and misappropriate our hard earned treasure on cronyism. Career Congressmen and Senators become multimillionaires while working as public servants.

Meanwhile, the “Standard of Living” for American who work deteriorates as both the “Government class” and their rapidly growing “class of non-producer perpetrators” at the Local, State and Federal levels continue to feed on and to suck the “Systems” dry.

The following are the first 10 signs that Americans will be wiped out by an Economic Collapse and  are excerpted from an article by Michael Snyder, on June 24th, 2013, in his Economic Collapse Blog at :  http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/how-far-will-stocks-fall-this-time-when-the-fed-decides-to-slow-down-quantitative-easing

#1 According to a survey that was just released, 76 percent of all Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. But most Americans are acting as if their jobs will always be there. But the truth is that mass layoffs can occur at any time. In fact, it just happened at one of the largest law firms in New York City.

#2 27 percent of all Americans do not have even a single penny saved up.

#3 46 percent of all Americans have $800 or less saved up.

#4 Less than one out of every four Americans has enough money stored away to cover six months of expenses.

#5 Wages continue to fall even as the cost of living continues to go up. Today, the average income for the bottom 90 percent of all income earners in America is just $31,244. An increasing percentage of American families are just trying to find a way to survive from month to month.

#6 62 percent of all middle class Americans say that they have had to reduce household spending over the past year.

#7 Small business is becoming an endangered species in America. In fact, only about 7 percent of all non-farm workers in the United States are self-employed at this point. That means that the vast majority of Americans are depending on someone else to provide them with an income. But what is going to happen as those jobs disappear?

#8 In 1989, the debt to income ratio of the average American family was about 58 percent. Today it is up to 154 percent.

#9 Today, a higher percentage of Americans are dependent on the government than ever before. In fact, according to the U.S. Census Bureau 49 percent of all Americans live in a home that gets direct monetary benefits from the federal government. So what is going to happen when the government handout gravy train comes to an end?

#10 Back in the 1970s, about one out of every 50 Americans was on food stamps. Today, about one out of every 6.5 Americans is on food stamps.

It’s Come Down to Hand to Hand Fighting for our Constitutional Republic and our Liberty

October 17, 2013 in Abuse of Power, Accountability, America's Collapse, Constitution, DICTATORSHIP, Founding Principles, Liberty, Liberty in Jeopardy, Obama's America 2016, Our Dear Leader, Police State, Political Class, Political Deception, President Obama, Progressivism, Restoring Courage, The Hope and The Change, The Stakes for the 2014 Election

In his recent book, The Liberty Amendments, Mark Levin has provided us with a Constitutional path provided by our forefathers who foresaw a time when”-the Federal Government might breach the Constitution’s limit and begin oppressing the people.”

A path that can restore our Constitutional Republic and wrestle it away from our present “Functional Dictatorship” which continues to tighten its noose around our Liberties while our dysfunctional, elitist “Establishment Political Class” that permeates the Washington beltway, stands by catatonically.

The plan is to use our Constitution’s Article V Amendment process that states that upon the application of 2/3 of our state legislatures,   a Convention shall be convened  for the propose of   proposing Amendments to  our Constitution.

In the Liberty Amendments, Mark Levine provides some of his ideas for Amendments, but realizes that others may wish to add or subtract from his proposals as and he is fine with that.

So if we are to succeed we must begin to act immediately and move towards a 2/3 Majority of all state legislators. It will not happen overnight but we must be vigilant and patient if we are to succeed. We are in a war for survival and in war, as we have learned from the Progressive leaders our “Dear Leader” , Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and their allies, they take no prisoners.

Our adversaries now know and understand that they must forcibly block this  last route to our freedom at all costs, if they are to “fundamentally Transform” America away from our Constitutional Republic and its tenants that guarantee our “…certain unalienable Rights” of “…Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness –“

The following excerpt  is from Mark Levin’s  book The Liberty Amendments:

“For a century, the Statists have steadfastly constructed a federal Leviathan, distorting and evading our constitutional system in pursuit of an all-powerful, ubiquitous central government. The result is an ongoing and growing assault on individual liberty, state sovereignty, and the social compact. Levin argues that if we cherish our American heritage, it is time to embrace a constitutional revival.

The delegates to the 1787 Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia and the delegates to each state’s ratification convention foresaw a time when—despite their best efforts to forestall it—the Federal government might breach the Constitution’s limits and begin oppressing the people. Agencies such as the IRS and EPA and programs such as Obamacare demonstrate that the Framers’ fear was prescient. Therefore, the Framers provided two methods for amending the Constitution. The second was intended for our current circumstances—empowering the states to bypass Congress and call a convention for the purpose of amending the Constitution. Levin argues that we, the people, can avoid a perilous outcome by seeking recourse, using the method called for in the Constitution itself.

The Framers adopted ten constitutional amendments, called the Bill of Rights, that would preserve individual rights and state authority. Levin lays forth eleven specific prescriptions for restoring our founding principles, ones that are consistent with the Framers’ design. His proposals—such as term limits for members of Congress and Supreme Court justices and limits on federal taxing and spending—are pure common sense, ideas shared by many. They draw on the wisdom of the Founding Fathers—including James Madison, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and numerous lesser-known but crucially important men—in their content and in the method for applying them to the current state of the nation.

Now is the time for the American people to take the first step toward reclaiming what belongs to them. The task is daunting, but it is imperative if we are to be truly free.”

Tonight’s Politburo Vote in the Senate

October 16, 2013 in Abuse of Power, Accountability, Constitutional, DICTATORSHIP, Fiscal Cliff, Hope and Change, Integrity, Liberty in Jeopardy, Obama-Nomics, Obama's America 2016, ObamaCare, Police State, Political Class, Political Deception, Political Incompetence, President Obama, Treason

The following Roll Call vote took place in spite of the fact that Senators were not provided copies to peruse before the vote, even if they requested it. 18 Patriots voted Nay! The means by which this legislation was moved and passed gives new meaning to the word “Treachery”.  Republican Mitch McConnell got his $2 Billion Earmark and a stipend of $174K of our treasure was slipped to  Millionairess Senator Frank  Lautenberg of NJ’s  widow in this purported “Clean CR”. When we have a chance to review the entire bill we will surely find other treacheries like a trick-provision that was added that will require a 2/3 vote  to stop the Debt Limit increase.

Had enough yet?

2nd Amendment Opponent Mayor Bloomberg’s Armed Security Accosts Journalist

January 29, 2013 in "Bill of Rights", 2nd Amendment, Abuse of Power, Anarchy, Constitutional, Founding Principles, Gun Control, Political Class, Political Deception

Our country has now evolved such that there are one set of rules for our new elite “Ruling Political Class” and another for us, the  new common “Serfs Class”.

Our Political Class has become a do as I say not as I do elite.  Rabid anti-gun Anti-2nd Amendment Mayor Michael Bloomberg surrounded by 5 hefty security guards , leaving a conference, is asked a gun control question by a reporter,  Jason Matter, who was also an attendee. Jason is immediately accosted by Bloomberg’s  guards  and then the guards  continue to harass and intimidate him even after he walks away down the street.

GOOD NEWS: MAYOR BLOOMBERG’S JOURNALIST REPELLENT SYSTEM IS WORKING PERFECTLY

By:  John Haywood
1/28/2013 12:55 PM

My old friend Jason Mattera, now with the Andrea Tantaros show, participated in a stress test of New York mayor Michael Bloomberg’s journalist repellent systems, and I’m pleased to report that the system is functioning beautifully.  The Mayor is protected from a number of things he would prefer his citizens remain vulnerable to, including impertinent questions.  He doesn’t seem any more eager to declare his own personal “gun-free zone” than most other gun control zealots, but he’s strongly in favor of journalism-free zones:

You can tell Jason is mellowing out, because in his wild youth he would have done the interview with a Big Gulp in his hand.  If he gets a chance to conduct a follow-up interview, I’m hoping he’ll ask if Bloomberg has ever participated in Barack Obama’s “frequent skeet shoots,” which I believe look something like this:

It’s remarkable how reliably the “why won’t you disarm your bodyguards?” question discombobulates the anti-Second Amendment crowd.  They really don’t have a comfortable focus-group-friendly answer to it.  The coldly logical responses – “because I’m more important than you, so I need protection” – simply do not sit well with the public.  That includes people who might otherwise be content to ride in the gun-control bandwagon, until they hit this particular intellectual speed bump.

The question is not, “Why should you have a professional security detail while I must defend myself?”  If that were the issue at hand, it wouldn’t be tough to answer the question.  Instead, the ruling class finds it difficult to explain why they should enjoy armed protection while the rest of us are forbidden to defend ourselves at all, or must do so within an environment of complex restrictions that put us at a pronounced disadvantage against attackers.  This position might be easier to defend if the Little People faced no significant risk of criminal attack, but that’s obviously not the case.  It’s especially obvious if you know more about the recent history of law-abiding citizens defending themselves with firearms than the national media wants you to know.

Serious students of American liberty read the Second Amendment and see the right of individual citizens to defend themselves, and their families, against tyranny and barbarism.  It is increasingly offensive to hear people with armed security details lecture us on how it’s really more like a provisional license to shoot ducks and clay pigeons.

Update: You’ll have to make do with the artistic representation of Obama’s frequent skeet shooting sessions provided by Messrs. Brooks and Korman, because the White House refuses to provide photos of our gun-slinging President filling the sky with hot lead.
