Navy first: Same-sex couple share first homecoming kiss

December 22, 2011 in Politics, Propaganda, Socialist

One by one our traditional American institutions have become prey to the liberal Socialist Agenda to weaken our Country. The Obama Administration took aim at our miltary and knowingly at our national defense.

In November 2010 Mark Walker wrote in  The North County Times that:  “Nearly 7 of every 10 Marines in combat roles say repealing the policy that prohibits gays and lesbians from serving openly would harm their unit’s effectiveness, more than any other branch of the armed forces, according to a long-awaited Pentagon survey released Tuesday.”

In spite of these concerns both the  Sectreary of Defense and the Joint Chiefs of Staff certified that repeal would not harm military readiness.'”  The DADT policy has also resulted in new regulationa whereby , “The U.S. Army has officially threatened military chaplains they must either embrace the new openly homosexual military, resign from service, or face court-martial for their “religious, conscience” objections.

In  September of this year the Blaze reported that the Pentagon is now allowing military chaplains to perform same-sex marriages both on and off of military bases. The Rev. Ron Crews, executive director of the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty, and Archbishop Timothy Broglio, who represents Roman Catholic priests in the military, both say their chaplains won’t violate their faith tenets by marrying same-sex couples.

Where are we going?

From the Navy in 1945 celebrating VJ day, we have gone to:

(AP) VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia – A Navy tradition caught up with the repeal of the U.S. military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” rule on Wednesday when two women sailors became the first to share the coveted “first kiss” on the pier after one of them returned from 80 days at sea.

Petty Officer 2nd Class Marissa Gaeta of Placerville, California, descended from the USS Oak Hill amphibious landing ship and shared a quick kiss in the rain with her partner, Petty Officer 3rd Class Citlalic Snell of Los Angeles.

Gaeta, 23, wore her Navy dress uniform while Snell, 22, wore a black leather jacket, scarf and blue jeans. The crowd screamed and waved flags around them.
